To Share and To Remember: Kyoto, Japan

The next morning, with my one day Kyoto city bus pass (500yen) , I took a bus to philosopher's path.

This Philosopher's Path stay at around Ginkaku-ji Temple and I walk my way to the temple.

If you haven't take your breakfast, you can buy some snacks while on your way up to Ginkaku-ji temple. And I had this!!

You need to pay 500 yen entrance fees to this temple.

Basically, there is nothing to shout about this temple. Some garden landscaping and temple, that's all.

And I continue my walk along Philosopher's path until I reach Eikando Temple. Eikando is really a zen temple; less tourist, but iy is an autumn temple, not a spring temple.

You need to pay 600yen entrance fees to Eikando Temple.

Eikando or Zenrinji is worth to visit. You can feel the atmosphere in this temple, a peaceful atmosphere.

Once finish with Eikando (Zenrinji temple), I took a bus to Kiyomizudera temple.

There's a small street for you to walk along before you reach Kiyomizudera temple. This temple is full with tourist because when you join a tour, this is a must temple in your itinerary.

The que is long for this holy water. Because it's too long, I never took the que and continue with my jouney.

Gion

As I walk along, I saw a few temples but I do not have the intention to go in. Too many temples in Kyoto. And I walk to Gion. Gion is a just a street for you to spot some Geisha. I saw few tours in this area with the tour guide explaining. You can chose to dine inside with the Geisha but I think this place is quite over-rated with expensive menu.
