I registered mine and from my last post, I actually decided to buy Panasonic Alkaline water filter from Japan. First you need to register with Tenso first. Once you complete your registration, they will give you an address in Japan.
Address in Japan |
Once you finish shopping, key in the local Japan address provided by Tenso and make payment after that. Most of the website accept international credit card. Once they receive your payment, they will deliver your items within 2 days.
When buying online in Japan, they will update everything to you via email. Tenso will email to you once they received your package. Tenso will calculate the total weight and you need to make the final payment before they deliver to your address.
And one week later, my package arrived and was being held by Custom Malaysia. I was given 3 options:
a) I appoint Pos Malaysia as custom agent
b) Self clearance of items from custom
c) Appoint other agent / representation as my custom agent
If I appoint Pos Laju, I need to pay RM49.80 for them as service fees and if my items are being taxed, I need to pay the remaining balance when I collect my item. So I decided to do a self clearance. Because this is not my first time to do self clearance.
I'm not going to elaborate on the custom thing. Just go to Pos Malaysia hub at Terminal LCCT and remember to bring your identity card and driving license. My items value are RM 1500 not being taxed (i'm not going to mention why). I just need to pay RM18 processing fees.
My item |
If you buy any electronic item in Japan, please remember that their voltage is different in Malaysia. Japan electricity voltage is 100v while Malaysia is 220v-240v. You need to get a transformer in order to use your electrical item.
Step-down transformer |
I'm very happy and satisfied with my Panasonic Alkaline water filter TK-7208P. And I'm still buying from Tenso Japan but not being tax for few times. Happy Shopping everyone!!!!

Just wondering where you got the step down transformer in Malaysia and how much it cost. Just bought a alkaline ionizer from Rakuten Global and they will ship from Japan. So I may need a step down transformer. Thanks.
Bought this at electric street KL. It is rm 23 only
What is the Wattage of the ionizer? Is it still working normally?
Hi,
